• Recently in a blind tasting of 30 Great Chardonnay’s from around the world, including top Burgundy Grand Cru, with a couple of Le Montrachet’s in the lineup, Kumeu River came in the top 3… at less than 1/20th the price of the Top Burgundies and other top California Chardonnay’s.
• A few months hence, Kumeu River’s Paul Brajkovich conducted a comprehensive retrospective Vertical tasting, prompting Jancis Robinson, amongst the other tasters gathered, to remark, “Why should I drink expensive white Burgundy!”
