• Founded in 1894, this has become one of the finest grower estates in the Cote des Blancs under its current proprietor, Pascal Agrapart, who has been making wines since 1984.
• Pascal Agrapart is one of the Cote de Blanc’s finest Vignerons producing chiseled but powerful wines from his organically farmed vineyards. Old vines, ripe grapes, alcoholic and malolactic fermentation with ambient microflora and elevage of vins clairs in tank and seasoned demi-muids are the rudiments of his approach.
• Agrapart is one of the so-called, Artisanal Grower Champagne’s, who make the wine all the way from the vineyard to the bottle, with great emphasis on the viticultural aspect, much like Top, Domain Burguney. A small group of these producers make the most distinctive, charactersome wines of the region.
• The formidable Extra Brut Blancs de Blancs Terroirs Grand Cru is a wine derived from the villages of Avize, Cramant, Oger and Oiry.
